I have had this scale for less than a year and it goes through 3 AAA batteries like crazy. I have never had to replace batteries in a scale once every 2-3 weeks. Anyone else experience this issue? It comes so highly rated, I can't understand that if anyone else is blowing through batteries like I am. It's not like I weigh myself 30 times a day (or a month!)

Taylor 7405 This scale has been great! I started my weight loss at 359 pounds and have used this scale until now I am about 295. It has been about a year. It has a great backlight and the numerals are very big. Easy to see. The only thing that people need to know is that the scale holds onto the last value and if you get on a second time and the weight is within a pound or so it will display the previous reading. You can get around this by letting it read another weight that is different ( like you spouse) and then you can get a second reading for yourself. The scale display flashes when it stores that weight. I have really liked this scale.

The scale is designed to measure in increments of 0.2 lbs however because it is meant to measure bodyweight it may not be accurate for items weighing less than a few pounds.
