saw it, got it, LOVE it! I read s Lott of reviews and this by far had the most and best reviews. and they're well deserved! great product. Really has helped with painful knots in my shoulders and helps my husband with lower back pain.

Having been in Medical Field for over 35 years - I am quite aware of both quality of equipment and the uses of TENS as an alternative means of pain relief to medications. Alternate or more natural ways of healing and or pain relief are far superior to more chemically prescribed ways of dealing with physical "inconveniences". TENS and its applications is a way to treat chronic or nagging pain - as well as more acute forms of pain - without the expense or chemical or habit forming problems associated with available drugs - whether prescribed or over-the-counter. Simply - it interferes with - and in some cases eliminates the nerve impulses sent to the brain that says a certain area of your body "hurts". It is by no means a "Cure-all" however. It is an ADJUNCTIVE type therapy that for many people - that can work where other forms of therapy fail. It doesn't work for everyone - or with every type of pain - but it helps many achieve more comfort - whether by itself or in addition to medications already taken. Some folks can even reduce current medications - or eliminate some all together. That is not only cost effective - but better for your body in the long run. This item came FAST through OVERSTOCK>COM. I had it within 3 days of ordering from my location. It comes in a handy case that is sturdy and easy to store and use. All you need to do is to install the INCLUDED 9V Battery - attach the electrodes and use. Instructions are easy to follow - but lacking background information to the average user. Luckily the internet can provide whatever information you may need to know about TENS therapy - so that is really not a problem. The quality of the unit itself is TOP notch. It has 2 separate channels for using either 2 or 4 electrodes. You can use these on the same area simply by placing them on the sides of pain areas. 2 electrodes are usually sufficient per area - like say the lower back or knee. But having two separately controlled channels also makes it easy to apply to separate areas of the body. The electrodes are RE-USABLE many times over if you make sure the areas applied to are clean when applied - but I would recommend also purchasing a separate package of electrodes to keep on hand. There are some good multi pak values on OVERSTOCK for this. One is the 40 pack option - which contains 40 separate electrodes in groups of 4 X10. The price may seem high at first observation - but remember these can be used over and over with a little preparation and care when applying or taking off and storing. I tend to leave my electrodes on all day and use the UNIT when I need it - or when I am working on strenuous projects. If pain creeps in - I just turn the tens unit on for 30 minutes or so. For me - it works great!! You can either unplug the electrodes from the unit and leave attached to your body or leave entire unit attached and clip to your belt with included built in belt clip - or carry it in your pocket. The unit itself is small and unobtrusive. When you first turn the unit on - it gives a "tingle" sensation to the area applied - which increases as you turn the channel dial. It is not unlike an electrical shock sensation. Start low and increase as needed. Your body will quickly adjust to this - and you will find that you can easily increase the flow higher after only a few minutes - if needed.You won't even know you are wearing it after you adjust to it - except for the pain easing or disappearing altogether. It has great versatility, and variable features - and easily understandable and accessible controls too. These are protected from outside accidental physical interference with a small clear plastic open and closeable window over them. No need to worry about settings being changed by rubbing on clothes etc. I am very pleased with product and it's effects for chronic back pain and knee pain relief. Quality exceeds many of the units that we use for our patients in the outpatient areas and hospital I am associated with. I even took to the biomedical department and had it checked out - and all they said was "WOW!" "This unit exceeds the quality of the ones we use ourselves". That says a lot coming from those guys - and for the price you just can't beat it. Only thing I can say is try it and see for yourself!! Works GREAT for me!

I have arthritis in my right shoulder. I experience a dull toothache kind of continuous pain. Tens 7000 worked well in reducing that pain after just a 10 minute use of the unit. It's well worth the money just for the pain relief.
