I rdered a Christmas gift of a scale for my brother and sister-in-law and instead of receiving a scale, they were shipped an electric can opener. I even paid for an extended warranty on the scale. Buyer beware.

I was looking for good old fashioned scale that I could adjust to be in syn with the doctor's scale and finally found this one. The others are not adjustable with the tiny wheel on the bottom and are confusing with metric etc. This is easy to view, sturdy and adjustable. Very well made.

I ordered this scale, happy to get something that wasn't boring white in color and love the silver color. I was happy about the weight tracker too, so I could see my desired target. But when I opened my box from overstock.com, there was a sunbeam scale inside, but a cheaper model and ....ugh... it was white. They told me this was an item I could not return for some reason. They reimbursed me for the difference between the two. So I am not saying this situation is typical, but it did happen to me. That's the risk you take ordering online. Disappointed I did not get what I paid for in the first place.
