Nice idea
I got this for my spouse who has Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. It has helped immensely for a dining tray, and for vitamins and pill bottles. I could not find a tray that had a lip on it and pills would roll off onto the floor. We both feared the dog would get one so this was the next best thing to a tray I could order. It's expensive, that is the drawback, but the design is great and it looks good with our furniture. I do wish there were trays with a lip on them for catching liquids and rolling objects like pens and pills but I just couldn't find one.

Great Tray Table
I bought this for my dad as he was struggling with cancer. He used it for his computer and food. Very sturdy and loved that it would swing away so he could get up.

Such a Help
We bought this for my husband's mom who stays in her chair alot and on bad days can just eat there from her chair or use it to hold snacks and her drinks and also can write on it. Also helpful to aid her in getting up. Just took some getting used to but she likes it alot now. Gread product.

Excellent
My husband has Parkinson's and this table was ideal. It allows him to rise from the chair easily plus, the swing tray closes the gap (unlike a regular TV tray which didn't scoot all the way to his chair) keeping food from dropping on the floor, the chair or his lap. It is also handy for his netbook. Overall, I'm happy as a clam with this item (as is he) and am even considering ordering one for myself.

stander able tray
The tray is attractive and doesn't have that hospital feel. So it blends in with furniture. However, it is not the most sturdy table. It tilts a bit, but since it has a cup holder, a drink is stable. The tray is a little bit too small. Overall, it does serve it's purpose. The biggest thing it has going for it is style.

Better Description
This is a good item if used on a none reclining chair or sofa. It would be nice if it could be adjusted width wise as well as lengthened. The table was assemblied upside down on the arm
