WARM!!
This is the perfect solution to chronic cold feet. You place them in the microwave for a minute, slip them on and your feet stay nice and toasty for at least an hour. MUCH better than the ones that have oatmeal or rice fillings as these are washable and don't have that horrible musty smell. Loved these so much, I bought 4 pairs to give to my friends aged 25-42 and EVERYONE loves them. If you have an aversion to putting shoes in the microwave the warming bead packets can be removed and placed by themselves in the microwave, you just have to be careful not to overheat them. Plus they are not hideous looking and are actually comfortable to walk in!
