I purchased this product by reading the only ONE review & I must say THANK YOU!!! IT really works. My husband & I both use it & when fanmily & friends visit we have a new bar of soap for them. It will be my gift for the holidays.I have been using this soap for over 8 months. I live in the Florida Keys...the mosquitos & No-See-UMS are bad here for the past several months. Before I would use Deep Woods Off as my wonderful perfume everyday. For months now I only use Skin Armour Anti-mosquito Soap & spray my hair & clothes with OFF Dry. I wish this came in shampoo. It really works. I give it 10 STARS...................

I know this soap works since I used it before rafting and camping for two days (showered again with it after rafting) and came away with two mosquito bites on the back of one knee. Usually my boyfriend and I come back littered with bug bites after a whole weekend of camping near water but he came away with only one on his wrist and me with two on the leg. I heard a lot of grumbling from other campers so I know the bugs were out there but the soap really did the trick and it smelled fresh and clean too!

I was hopeful in the product. I think it works but I was disappointed in overstock in sending two expired products. I didn't want to hassle with sending the product back so I kept it. On a positive note, the smell is very pleasant.

I am glad to have this to add to my outdoor gear. Mosquito season has not arrived yet but I am confident inthe products claim. I also am satisfied that it is all natual and has a pleasant fragrance as other products do not.

We currently live on a tropical island, and have a constant battle with mosquitos. I was terrified of my kids getting a mosquito borne disease but I hated spraying them down with insect repellent containing deet every time we went outside. Since we received this soap, they have not had a bite, literally! I can't believe it! I am shocked at how well it works!

when I saw this product on here I was slightly skeptical about whether it would work or not. but I saw so many reviews claiming it did work for others and I was all for trying anything that would help me during mosquito season. much to my disappointment, I noticed the product expired 6 months ago when I received the product! (and looking at some of the recent reviews others have received an expired product as well) luckily, customer service was super helpful and set up to have the expired product replaced, we will see if the replacement product is expired or not (fingers crossed)

My husband and I are missionaries in Mexico. My husband got dengue fever within a couple of months of our moving here. So in hearing from someone visiting Mexico about Skin Armour we purchased it and had someone bring it down to us. We could not rave enough about it! It simply works and has been a huge blessing to us, as we do not like to use the mosquito sprays as they are very harmful.

I have celiac disorder/disease. This means that my body cannot process any gluten and often reacts oddly to "normal" products that the general population uses. This is true for cosmetics and skin products. I originally used this soap just for the mosquito problem in FL and found that it was effective. Then, I also discovered that using it regularly left my skin clean, moisturized and feeling more supple. There is no odd odor with this anti mosquito soap (as with some others I've used) and, in fact, it has a lovely fragrance. The wonderful thing about Overstock is that they sell it for much less than any other place/site. Thanks !

Don't bother buying this product. It has an expiration date on it & the one I received already expired. Stick to bug spray...

I use the soap everyday and can sit outside each evening without worrying about mosquitos. I plan to try it on vacation but don't know yet how it will fare in heavily infected mosquito areas. The soap smells nice.

I'm a mosquito magnet. I have been suffering with bites for 2 months. I bought this soap hoping it would make a difference. I use it religiously everyday, even though I have some very nice high end shower gels...but being bite-free is more important! I have noticed a severe drop in the bites I have been getting! Actually, right now I have zero bites. I was told to eat garlic and soak my arm (a target for some reason) in vinegar and between the soap, vinegar and garlic, I am off their radar.

Soap is so mild smelling, I can't imagine it will work, considering the price, I feel I may have been duped! I will post a retraction if I find I am wrong, time will tell...

I was laughed at! Camping near the BWCA in Minnesota I told people about my soap and I got many an eye roll. Until we were all being swarmed by mosquitos and gnats and.... I had ONE bite! One Bite! I LOVE THIS SOAP!

I decided to try this soap on a recent camping trip. It was very rainy and damp during most of the trip and the bugs were active. While I did end up with a few bites, overall I had many fewer than I would have normally had. This soap definitely works! And, it doesn't smell like insect spray - it has a pleasant, clean smell. The bar holds up well, too.

The soaps arrived in great shape - carefully packaged to within an inch of potentially being overpacked. They are a tiny bit smaller than an average bar of soap size but fit in a standard soap carrier / tray just fine. The smell is great and after hiking all day through the woods in Virginia, not one mosquito or flea or tick had bitten. Either they were not hungry that day or the soap works. Produces a suprisingly thick, rich creamy leather once you get it to lather (in our hard water)that you apply to your skin. Rather than rinse off immediately, you leave it on for a few minutes so the essential oils in it can really sink into your skin. The size did not appear to have shrunk at all and it dried out evenly without cracking. Overall, a good purchase and I still have plenty of the bar left for the remaining summer hikes.

Mosquitoes love me and I do not know why .so I had high hopes for this soap to work but unfortunately it did not .I am giving this to my kids just to see if it will workfor them. This is the first time I have been dissatisfied with a purchase.

I was skeptic about this product but I knew that I had to do something about the mosquito's in Mexico for my trip. I went prepared with my handy soap and needless to say, but I had less bug bites than I normally do. It probably wont work 100% of the time, but I am pleased with the results and at least I had less bug biting on me than usual. I would definitely recommend it!!!

It seemed to work pretty well... I took this camping and usually i get eaten alive. I did use a little bug spray as well because I didn't want to risk it... but definitely less than I would normally use. The soap smelled pretty good and cleaned well.
