These razors are an upgrade to the regular Shick Xtreme Comfort razors that are teal and gray in color. This razor like its predecessor gives a great shave but adds additional lubrication. This razor gives a close comfortable shave. I have sensitive skin so I need a very smooth shaver or it rips my face up - looks like I got in a fight with a weed eater. They aren't the cheapest disposable but they are way cheaper than regular non-disposable razors and give a very comparable shave.
I thought there were 24 razors in this pack. There were actually 24 packs of 8 razors, for a total of 192 razors! I think I'm set for life. I got a couple of these razors from a promo a year or so ago, and I can really make them last. The ones sold by Overstock seem to be of the same quality.
I purchased these because the Gillette Fusion was significantly more expensive. It turned out to be a bad move in the end. If you have rougher facial hair, Gillette Fusion 5-blade is significantly superior to this 3-blade Schick product. On top of a cleaner shave, the Fusion offers a longer life per blade than this Schick Xtreme Comfort product. Also, it is next to impossible to clean the crud from the Schick blades by running water whereas the crud in Fusion can be easily cleaned by running water.
