    Unfortunately this product has suffered the way so many good old products have, it is watered down and cheapened to the point of not being the same product I had known and loved years ago. this was an aftershave that my husband has bought since we were in High School some 40 years ago. the initial scent out of the bottle is the same but it changes almost immediately on skin contact to something quite different and then disappears totally after 15 min. for which I am almost grateful. We have bought this throughout the years at high end men's stores and I would be willing to try it from them in case they are receiving a different product but the price is relatively the same it was just easier to have it shipped during Christmas. It was not money well spent.

    The last time I used Royall Spyce was when I was in college in the late 60s. I also used Royall Lyme and Royall Bay Rhum, both of which I have continued to use to this day. I was running low on both and because they are very hard to find, I did a web search to find the best deal on both. Then I started to read about Royall Spyce and vaguely remembered that it was probably my favorite of the three and sure enough, it is (although I really like Royall Lyme, too). Great scent, not overpowering like some. And I can use it as an aftershave.

    Only problem we had was delivery. Product was broken in delivery and no one followed up on it. When we finally called several weeks later, we were told they were unable to deliver. When we asked for further information we were told it had been broken and another bottle would be sent asap. This bottle arrived in a few days in god condition.
