The fact that they are wax makes the light they emit look just like candlelight. The fact that they are not plastic like so many out there on the market today, means that the light quality is very bright and the ENTIRE candle is illuminated, not just the top third, like so many of the plastic ones seem to be. The timer feature is perfect for 'set it and forget it' people like me. I have a buffet and hutch and have my mothers china and collectables in the hutch. This candles emit the most flattering light in the evenings on all the beauties in the hutch. Best part...until the batteries die, I don't have to touch them again to turn them off and on. Everyone needs at least one set of these to spotlight an area of thier home. Love them!

I love these candles for thier size and shape! They are beautifu, heavy, and look like a real candle! They cast a realistic glow around the room when on which allows me to have the beauty of candlelight without the danger of a flame! What I didn't like was the light scent, which is so faint to me I couldn't smell it in my small bedroom! I often asked people can you smell the vanilla? Most replied no or very faintly! Not what I was expecting for a candle I plan on using for a long time! Despite the light scent I do adore these candles and would buy them again BECAUSE they're flameless and beatiful! I just have a vanilla plug-in to provide the extra scent I desire! Good buy:)

I received these candles and just love them. They are everything I thought they would be. The timer is very convenient and the aroma is very pleasing. I ordered another set from this company and feel that the price was just right too.
