I bought this for my son. He does not like it at all. He said the plates do not go to the edge so his hair drags on the plastic. I'll be buying a different one soon.

This is the first (and only!) flat iron I've ever owned. It heats up quickly and I'm able to straighten my slightly wavy hair in about five minutes. I can't really compare it to other irons since it's the only one I've owned, but it does the job well. It has lasted me over five years, and isn't too pricey. Like someone mentioned earlier, the buttons do get in the way sometimes but they aren't a deal-breaker. Also, I wouldn't recommend using it on wet hair because it leaves it dry and frizzy. Just use on slightly damp or dry hair. If you are looking for an inexpensive flat iron that does the job well, get this one!

I love that the straightening iron heats quickly and can be used on damp to wet hair - definitely a perk in the morning. The size is great. However, the buttons are set up in such a way that it is easy to hit the power button which makes it awkward for using to easily straighten hair. No matter how I hold it, I hit the power button almost every time I use it. Somehow all the great things about the straightening iron do not matter when you have to stop, turn the power on and then reset it to the desired heat level. I would not buy this product again.

This is the second Remington Wet 2 Straight Iron I have owned. The first was 5 years old and still worked beautifully! I only replaced it because the plates started to show some wear. The new one works just as well. I love how it heats up so quickly and shuts itself off if I forget to unplug it. My hair is naturally wavy and very thick and this is the only product that has ever allowed me to have straight, smooth hair. My only recommendation would be to not use it on wet hair. The few times I've tried the wet to straight setting, my hair has come out somewhat straw like. Other than that, I would recommended it over any expensive, salon quality iron. I use it everyday and love it!

this is far the WORST hair straightner i have everrrr used. its pure damage to the hair, and a waste of my money. i would never recommend this to anyone.

i have had this flat iron for over 6 months now i love the digital adjustable settings and it heats very quickly- when i use this flat iron i usually dont have to use it but once a week as it gets very hot..dont use the wet feature but it is great iron to use..i would buy this again and truly like the remington line of flat irons

I waz actually very skeptical about the product, but the moment I used it, ii noticed that it worked like no other flat iron that I ever tried. Which is a good thing... Another Satisfied Customer!!!!!

I ordered this as I was unable to find this model in my local stores due to Christmas. I was pleased with the price and how quickly I received the item. It has been working perfect.

I have naturally curly hair. I had never used a flat iron before to straighten my hair. I thought that having one that could be used on wet hair would be good. I tried it once & won't use it again. I used the lower heat setting for use with damp hair. It seemed to deaden my hair. A professional had used a flat iron on my hair before & it came out shiny & straight but still had body. Perhaps I didn't use it correctly? The reason I chose it was because someone at work who seems to have straight or slightly wavy hair told me that she loved it. So if your hair is not totally curly - it might be good.
