I bought this as a gift for my husband, and he loves it. It shaves close; it is comfortable, and it is easy to use. His face feels so smooth after a shave. It is the best shaver he has owned in a long time. I would highly recommend this shaver to others.

The plastic shell seems a bit thin, not sure how it would take a spill. Shaver is OK, but takes too long for my taste to give me a clean shave.

It seems to work well for a battery shaver - very quiet. This is my first Remington, so still getting used to it from my old Norelco. I seem to have to go over several spots several times, but that could be because of my shaving habits. I think that this will last many years. A good investment. One thing I did notice - there was a coupon for Ray O Vac batteries in the box and it was dated to expire in 2008!!! Evidently this shaver had been setting around for quite awhile, so I hope the battery didnt lose too much zing in that time.
