This unit was a disappointment. I have been using electric shavers for 30 years, preferred going back to a floating head design and was hoping to send my business back to an American company. That said, I was disappointed that the shave is not real close consdiering the advertised number of cutting blades. I would say that I have an average beard and there is no way that I can adequately cut it in 3 minutes as the company states. As a result, there is no way that you can get 20 shaves on a 24 hour charge. In fact, the shaver is reluctant to hold a charge. If it isn't plugged in overnight, it often doesn't make it through the next day's shave and the (too) short electric cord must be used. Also, the button that flips open the shaving heads for cleaning broke the first day and now, if I open the shaving heads, I must make sure that the button doesn't fall into the sink drain and then, by hand, hold it in place as the head assembly is re-latched for the next shave. I will likely be looking at trying one of the Norelco 3-head shavers next.
Ive had other remington shavers and this battery isnt as good as the other ones i have had. the others i have had have lasted for weeks. seems to be a good shaver and quality thought. overall happy with the purchase
The shaver was exactly what I wanted, I have very sensative skin, the adjustable sensativity control on the razor gives me a good close shave ,without skin iritation and the price was great.
ordered shaver, then returned due to leaking of cleaning solution; received replacement and couldn't hold a charge for longer than one shave. returned to remington directly to have replaced with new model. major hassle re multiple returns and time to get a shaver that works.
The shaver looks nice with all its flashing buttons, but it did not hold a charge. I had to send it back to Remington and, since this model is discontinued, they replaced it with a newer model.
