I've had one of these for years...my old one recently broke (I was cleaning it and bent a part -- purely my fault) and decided to just get a new one. I really like this model and the price is great. It maybe refurbished but unless you were told that, you would never know.

Shaver rec'd appears as new, battery needed to be fully charged. Performance seems to be as new also.
This model DOES NOT operate via the plug, only from the battery (description INCORRECTLY states "corded/cordless operation").
