I bought this for my husband, who needs a shaver in his car, as well as home. This one works great, holds a charge well, although it doesn't cut long hair very well. He has a tendency to let his whiskers grow over the weekend and on Monday morning, he has to trim that hair before this razor will cut, or go over the area several times. For every day shaving, though, you can't beat it for the price.

When the shaver is turned upside down the switch goes off unless you keep the switch pushed up hard with your finger. Will have to return it.

After a month of use, this seems like a pretty good shaver, especially since it's under $****. I have sensitive skin, but this shaver is good at getting close without irritating my skin much. The trimmer is good at picking off the lone hairs that sometimes escape the foil blades, although because of the placement and sensitivity of the button for it, it sometimes pops up by accident. As some other reviewers have mentioned it's loud, but not so loud that it will wake up the whole house with the bathroom door shut.

Do not waste your money on this. After 2 weeks, the foil ripped and made cuts on my face and uooer chest area. I will stick with Norelco.

Works great! Very close and comfortable shave. Charge seems to last a while also. Shaver fits comfortably in my hand.

This Remington razor shaves as close as any razor I have owned and the battery life is outstanding. 12 days on the first charge.

You can not beat this for the price. For about what it costs for a replacement blade, you get a new unit. It's very comfortable shave. And not too loud like some previous reviews state.

I am very pleased with the shaver. It appears to be brand new. It arrived exactly when I was told. It works much better than any rechargable I have ever had. It is fairly quiet. It does not irritate my face or neck although I have used only a rechargeable for several years.The only squawk I have has to do with how the controls fit my hand. The pop up feature seems to pop up during normal operation when i am not needing that feature. The pop up cutter seems to work fine, its just to sensitive to popping up with a gentle unintentional touch. Overall I would strongly recommend to shaver as a very good buy.

The razor seems to be working fine. It does cut pretty close and is easy to use. It does make a little more noise than i would like but that doesn't mean it is loud. I think whoever buys one would like it. Thank you very much.

I bought this shaver for my son and he loves it! It works well with the chord attached or without and leaaves a clean, close shave with no burning. Great product especially for the price.

Razor was loud, cutters don't seem to be very sharp and doesn't hold a charge very long. I would rate it 4 out of 10 being generous. Wouldn't buy another

These Remington series shavers are getting harder and harder to find. I like them because of their compact size, the twin foil design which allows me to carve better along my goatee, and finally because they are one of the only dying breeds left that don't have a wall wart adapter. They simply come with a wee little curly cord, compact and great for traveling, which I do often. Other models don't quite have the same features. Finally, this model doesn't remain HOT when left plugged into AC. Some models get quite hot as their charging circuit never shuts off or slows down. That's terrible for battery life and simply is not good. I bought 2 of them from Overstock.com and now I have 3 in total. Now I have spare parts all for the price of what replacement blades and screens would have cost me alone! They are as good as any other electric shaver, but never as close as a good blade. I would have rated my experience with Overstock.com 5/5 if the tracking information in my online account was more informative. At one point, tracking seemed to show the package as "delivered to destination", and the destination was no where near me! It probably had to due with drop shipping or third party handling. My experience purchasing online kept me cool and trusting. The package arrived in a timely manner none the less, and packing was well done. I am currently using one of the shavers and although it came with a cheaper travel pouch than my original shaver of the same model, the shaver itself seems perfect and seemingly brand new! Works great. I would buy from Overstock.com again.

I am really happy with this product. If gives a close shave and is very easy to use. It charges quickly and holds the charge for many shaves. It is a little louder than m previous shaver (a Norelco), but I like this one much better.

Arrived quickly and was well packaged. Appeared to be in new condition. Works very well. Gives a good smooth shave. Especially like the 2 position trimmer.

I use this product to shave my head. I no longer need to purchase razors because this shaver gives me the same closeness on a day to day basis. Well worth the price when you factor in cost of razors and the limited uses they get. I highly recommend this product; I never once would have though it was a factory refurbished. FIVE STARS!!

This is a good value, for the money. It's noticeably louder than my original which I bought new about a year ago, but a lot cheaper than buying another new one. In fact, it's cheaper than buying just the cutter and foil set. Since it's reconditioned, I think it's safe to believe that the cutters and foil are either new or used very little. I like this model shaver very much, including the location and functioning of the pop-up trimmer, since I have curly hair and need the trimmer almost every time I shave. I bought this one because my battery is losing its capacity, but still works. So I'm still using my old one, but I transferred the cutters and foil to my old one. Now I'm still using my old one, but I'm keeping this as a spare when the battery in my old one no longer has enough charge for a complete shave. However, let's remember that this shaver can operate cordless and corded too. God bless America and Overstock too.

I was hesitant in purchasing a reconditioned product, but to my pleasant surprise the item arrived in what appeared to be "new" condition. It was packaged just as if you bought it in a retail store. As far as it's operation is concerned, it works like it was brand new. No problems so far! The battery has stayed charged for 2-3 shaves before needing to be recharged. I've owned many other Remington Electric Shavers and this is as excellent as all my others. And since the price was about half of retail , I'd say I got a great bargain!

needed a replacement elecric razor for a while. thought i was getting a great deal until i saw many at local retailers for approx same price. good name, decent shave. battery life: still too new to tell. not unhappy with my decision.
