I wasn't very keen on this purchase and it went back. I found it hard to use.

I was excited about receiving this product so I naturally wanted to test it out right away. I picked one of the irons and attached it to the base and plugged it in. I came back a few minutes later and the iron was still cold. I pushed the iron into the base with some more force and it started heating up so I thought I hadn't attached it properly the first time. Halfway through curling my hair, the curls weren't holding and it was because the iron had cooled down again. I pushed the iron back into the base and it heated up again. The curls are very pretty, but it is a huge pain to have to constantly worry about whether or not the iron is in full contact with the base. I tried to see if all the interchangeable irons had the same issue and they do. I think the problem is in the base design because it doesn't securely hold the iron in place.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Cheaply made. The interchangeable irons will not stay connected to the main unit so you lose heat whenever the connection becomes loose during your styling routine. They should have made a more secure fastener to hold the two pieces together so that the pins stay in constant contact with eachother.

It is a good set, but the learning curve and many burns I have given to myself on my ears and neck, moved it way back to my beauty arsenal.

This is the best machine I have ever bought. The curls are amazing and turn out so much better than with a curling iron. They last all night too and every one of my friends who has seen it, has begged for me to do their hair and they end up buying it for themselves. Even works on curly/frizzy hair. Just let it dry natural and the iron work just as well if not better. This product is amazing and I will buy another to have just in case mine breaks.
