This is an accurate scale but the pointer has to be adjusted to the center of zero before stepping on it. Once you manually adjust it, it is equal to a balance scale.

After two digital scales which fizzled out after 2 years, I decided to go with a good old fashioned model and this one is great. It's a bit large, but very easy to read, set, and stand on. I highly recommend it for personal and family use.

This scale is OK. As always my purchase arrived quickly and was packed very well. The numbers are large and easy to read but are marked in 20lb increments ( I would have preferred 5 or 10 lb increments) marks in between this 20lb area are difficult to read. Although not a defect..I wouldn't recommend it or refer to it as professional...it is just big.

Each time you get on this scale it gives you a different weight. You step on it and you must guess which time is correct. I'm talking about stepping on it several times at one weigh in, and you get a different weight each time.

I love this scale. I had the other one that blink and blink and then says error start over. Better yet you replace the battery and then it stops working cause I found out I bought a discontinued model that they no longer service. No more batteries for me!!!!!

This scale just shows the numbers by 10's and doesn't indicate a 5 with a line at all. Just does little hard-to-see lines for every 2 lbs. I didn't like it at all. I'm returning it and buying a digital scale.

The appearance is nice, but right from the get go there are problems with the needle. It never stays zeroed. Every time its used it has to be re-adjusted to zero. When you step off it doesn't return to zero, making me question the accuracy of the weighing. Granted, its not necessary for me to be accurate to the exact pound, but that's not the point.

I was so happy to receive my scale, it is a wonderful easy to read scale and after months of not knowing I have found that I have lost weight. The quick service I received really gave me some very happy news. The numbers are big enough for an older person to read easily and the size of the scale makes it easy for my larger family members to use it too. Thanks for a great buy.

Heavy duty bathroom scale that should last a long time, and, no batteries required!! Big enough to accommodate adult feet, and a large enough dial to easily read. Sometimes needs to be re-zeroed, but that is easy enough, too. Great product for the price. Thank you.
