This is my second purchase of this item. Lasts two+ years with daily use. A plus ...the unit is 'cord free'....and easy to use. The opening for water/rinse liquid is a bit small; unit holds enough liquid for one thorough cleaning- once you get it filled. Good irrigation, strong enough pulse, and gets the job done. Small rubber tip fits perfectly between gums to get that food out. Dental hygienist comments on good gum condition and low plaque near gum line. Well worth the money!

Expected better I love my Philips toothbrush so I expected great things here. I was disappointed in this product. It uses bursts of water from a tiny reservoir, rather than a steady stream. I didn't think it was as effective as other brands I'd used in the past. After a few months it fell off the counter and stopped working so I picked up a Water Pik Flosser which works great.

-- I wish this "Air forced-water projected-gum irrigation apparatus" was available when I was young. I would have had healthier gums, stronger tooth bone structure and happy teeth. I love it. It takes a while to learn how to efficiently use it, but once you do, you can't imagine living without it. Your gums feel great, your teeth are cleaner, the bacteria has been reduced. Hint: when doing top teeth, drop your mouth open, keep your tongue at the bottom of your mouth, hold apparatus straight up & point flosser directly between each tooth separation, pushing button 4 times, across top teeth. You will be shocked at how many food particles are forced out. Do same for bottom teeth, moving tongue out of the way. Don't point flosser up or down at the gum line as you might force food particles in to the gum. Great product, kudos and thank you, to whoever invented and created it.
