I picked up one for my anniversary dinner and they worked as advertised. The flickering candles create a nice ambiance, and I no longer have to deal with wax and smoke and candle stumps. The manual says 12 hours, but I've seen 18 or more hours from my candles. They also hold the charge very well, I can go a week or two between recharge and actual use.Three issues to be aware of- you should drain the batteries completely before recharging. Also- place every candle in the off position before recharging. I burned out a battery by leaving it on while charging. Overstock was great in arranging a replacement candle. Finally, the glass edge chips easily, so don't try to carry all six at once.

This is a great product, however it is smaller than I expected. The are under 5" tall. I do love that they are easy to charge.

I had a spot on a windowsill where candles would look nice but real flames would be a danger. These work perfectly and look very pretty.I can't say anything about durability because I have not had them long enough yet.They are appropriately priced, not really a bargain, but if they are what you need, buy them!

Very attractive, inexpensive. Thay stay charged much longer than I had anticipated. I am glad I got them to brighten up my mantle on an evening dark and dreary.

This is a great flickering candle light set. The little candles can be used separately inside Halloween or X-Mas decorations. They stay charged and flickering all night. The glass vases are very nice and of good quality. The charging unit is small and can be easily tucked away in a corner. The candles charge quickly and can be kept charging in the unit until needed. Perfect and safe for the holidays. Looks great and can be used either inside or out.

I bought these to set the mood at the gym for my yoga classes. Perfect for that application. I previously used a 4 piece set from a certain high priced mall store. Those burn much brighter than these, but this is a better deal overall. And if you weren't looking at the two side by side, you probably won't notice that these aren't especially bright. I've used them for four classes so far without need to recharge. Another very good deal from Overstock! Now if I could just find some PLASTIC tea light holders so could throw them in my gym bag without worrying about breaking the glass.

Incredible. These candles are wonderful for the price. They stay lit for well over 8 hours after a full charge. We use them all over the house! I recommend them highly :0)

These rechargable candles are perfect for anyone who does not want to worry about kids or pets knocking over a live flame. The frosted glass is ideal for making the flickering light appear real.At this price point, you can't go wrong.

These are a great safe replacement for the shallow votive candles. I feel much better about using these around my young niece and nephew than I would about using open flames. These last a very long time; I left two running for over 24 hours. The candles initially stay fully lit for about a second and then switch to a flickering flame. When they're inside the frosted glass holders that come with this set, it's impossible to see any difference between these and a normal flame. What's the difference? These are reusable. These don't put wax and associated unknown chemicals into the air and onto the walls of the house. These won't set anything on fire if knocked over; they don't heat up. On a single charge, these last much, much longer than a normal shallow votive. The set contains six candles (on-off switch on the bottom), six frosted glass holders, a charger plate and a power supply for the charger. Set up is intuitive. If you can figure out how to plug in a toaster, you don't need instructions for this.
