This product exceeded my expecations. Not only is it easy to use and has features not offered on comprable products, there was no way to tell it was refurbished except for the description. And a fantastic value for 2 units.

We thought when we received 2 blood pressure cuffs, oh that is nice, but then we began to try them. One of them didn't work with the same clicking noise that the other had as the duff was squeezing to build up pressure. Every time we tried the devises the readings were very different and we didn't know which one was right. I need a blood pressure cuff, but this one isn't a reliable one.

We got two for the price of one, so my husband and I each have our own. They work well and can be frequently used. It puts a safety net around us.

I ordered this product as a quick, easy way to monitor my blood pressure. I quickly found out that they are not only difficult to use, but also terribly INACCURATE. I repeatedly got error messages even though I was following the instructions that came with the device. When I was able to get a reading it was always quite a bit lower than what my blood pressure actually was when checked manually with a regular BP cuff & stethoscope. As a nurse I am concerned that this product could actually be detrimental to those who purchase it needing to monitor their blood pressure & then are given inaccurate information, leading them to believe that their BP is fine when actually it could be too high.

I am a registered nurse and I teach nursing assistant classes. I had been leery of wrist style blood pressure monitors as the others I had seen were inaccurate. I decided to purchase these (pack of two) because they were manufactured by Oregon Scientific, a name I trusted. When they arrived, I had ALL of my students try them. We read the instructions together, then students tried them on themselves and each other. We compared the readings to those obtained with manual blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes, and those obtained with an institutional-grade electronic blood pressure monitor. In ALL cases, both of the wrist blood pressure monitors were off by as much as 40 mmHg. All readings were very low. The students and I all agreed that these were worthless, but I must add, as a nurse of 36 years, that they represent a risk to the public health. Those who purchase them are likely doing so because they are concerned about high blood pressure (hypertension). Many are likely to be on medication to control blood pressure. If they are relying on these units to provide them with accurate readings and, perhaps, giving this information to their physicians, they may be at risk for blood pressure-related illnesses because they think their blood pressure is adequately controlled when, in fact, the information they are getting from these units is artificially low. I attempted to contact the manufacturer twice. I even left my name and phone number. I was met with rudeness and disbelief that the units were inaccurate. The man on the phone insisted, "We have DOCTORS who come in and buy these things!". I was never contacted by the manufacturer. I tell my students that if they are going to gather information without taking care to be sure that it is accurate, it is better to NOT DO IT AT ALL because medical/nursing decisions may be made assuming that the data was gathered properly. It would be best if these units were no longer available to the public.

Truth first-I expected an arm pressure machine with a jumbo cuff! Don't know if the promo or my reading was at fault. That said, these are a great pair of wrist cuffs. Good instructions with reminders on the cuff itself. Think it will be good to have one for home and one for travel.

pleasant surprise 2 pack both work great nice large numbers. Easy to read, snug fit seems tough has a good grip, has date time etc. which I personally don't use. This was an excellent but for the price

I do not recommend for use on sick or debilitated. Or any one that has contractures or neurological illness, such as parkinsons, or any one that cannot sit up. Doesnt work very well on these type patients. My wife tried to use one at work. She is a nurse in a geriactric facility. would not register readings. kept saying error. She finally quit using them. Too time consuming.

After making several purchases on Over Stock I was disappointed in the wrist blood pressure monitors I recently purchased.... they were easy to use but the readings are way off....

The Oregon Scientific Blood Pressure Meter (Refurb) provides accurate and easy to read results. The only problem is the wrong user manuel came with the set. I had to go to the company website to get a copy of the correct manuel.

Order response was immediate and accurate. Product price was excellent and works great. Delivery was earlier than expected. Price was a bargain. What more can be said? I will order again from Overstock and make recommendations to others. Always grreat prices.

One star for this turkey its too much. Gave me incorrect readings all over the board.

My only disappointment was that I didn't realize that this was a wrist BP cuff from the description. It was nice to get 2 of them so that I could give one away.

A recent check up showed a higher bp than was healthy.. I imediately ordered this home bp meter to keep an eye on my bp as I cut salt and dieted. I LOVE IT! After reading some of the other reviews I doubted that it would be easy to use and get an accurate reading. Well, I had no problem at all. Just be sure that it is in correct location and tight.I would reccomend this meter to anyone AND it is a lot of fun to use. Everyone that sees it wants to try it out. Maybe that is why it comes in a two pack?

I like everything except the Battery cover will pop off fairly easy

Works fine must follow directions completely to get accurate read. Make sure the ballon is over your pulse. Do not move arm while using. Follow directions or you will be unhappy with product. Have to reset date & time when batteries are taken out even for a second.
