Love this mat!
I purchased this mat and was very happy to find that it was the same brand I really wanted to buy (Bean Products), but at $21 less, and virtually free shipping, compared to what I would have paid! I have the same brand of yoga bolsters in my yoga studio (*****) and they still look new after 4+ years of daily use, so I know this mat will hold up just as long. I recently completed Thai Yoga Bodywork training, and this mat is perfect for it! As a matter of fact, I bought a second one because I was so pleased. If you need a massage mat, don't pass this one up, I've researched and it's the best deal for the price! Namaste...

it's huge!!! but very comfortable
I'm not sure why, but the posted dimensions did nothing to prepare me for the enormity of this mat. When rolled and stood on end, it's nearly as tall as I am (5'5"). The carrying strap is a bit of a misnomer: yes, you could carry this, but why would you want to? It's huge! That said, I unrolled it, laid on it with my BF, and we fell asleep immediately. So yes, it is VERY comfortable. I practice Thai Yoga Massage, so I will definitely be using this mat for that purpose. However, I thought I could also use this as a carry mat for camping or outdoors travel, and well...no. no way. You can't carry this on a camping trip. It's too big. Unless you drive your SUV to the camp site, this mattress probably wouldn't fit in an ordinary size car without taking up all the space. So for something that will live in my house and be used only for thai massage and maybe for naps, it's great. But don't think it's portable, because it's really not. Unless you like carrying big futon mats over your shoulder, because that's basically what this is. A well-designed, well-made, very comfortable, rollable-with-a-shoulder-strap futon mat.

Exactly what I needed
This is just what I was looking for. Needed this for my Thai massage course and was pleasantly surprised that it was just like my schools mats & maybe even better because it has a carry strap! I use a full size sheet on the mat to protect it and clients. My only complaint it that it is now $20 less than what I purchased it for 3 weeks ago. Ugh.... Just my luck.

Great Shiatsu Mat!
This was a great find. The mat is much bigger than I thought it would be which is a good thing. I think the size is somewhere between a full size and queen size mat. Very comfortable and plenty of padding. Very happy that I purchased this. I do wish it came with a cover but I think I'll try to make one myself. Package was delivered very quickly!

thai massage mat
The mat was exactly what I expected from the picture. It looks like its made to last, and it suits my need perfectly. Rolls up to be easily portable. Others I found were anywhere from $30 - $100 more. I use a twin size duvet to cover it and it works great!

lightweight and portable
I purchased this mat to use for Thai massage. My studio is carpeted with 1" foam, so it's pretty cushy under your feet. I don't think I would be happy using this mat if I had to work on it on my hard wood floors. If you are considering using this mat for massage work consider where you will lay it out as it is a bit thin. Rolls up and stores easily. Probably fine for an extra bed for kids or someone who is not too attached to sleeping in a real bed. I could easily transport the mat if needed, the carrying strap works great and again, it is not very heavy. I did make a cover for it as the muslin cover is not removable and would probably get pretty grungy over time. Over-all, it works for me.
