I used to take anti-anxiety prescription medicine and this product helps me as much without any negative side effects. I do take 2 tablets rather than the one now. I started at one tablet per day for a month and then increased to 2 per day. I fell that I have very even keel behavior for even the most stressful of events and I don't feel sluggish or run down. It makes me feel, for lack of a better word, "normal" and calm throughout the day. I really like this product.
