I would only mention this to make sure that the toilet seat is not a super modern one (low and wide with a lip on the rim) The flat rail did not sit on the toilet seat. We have another toilet and used it on it. It is for a Parkinson's disease person who needs support when rising or lowering himself. Also make sure that the vanity is not too close.
I replaced an almost identical model which I got at Home Depot about 10 years ago. This unit's back cross bar assembles differently - 3 pieces instead of two, causing flex in the handles when they are pushed down as anyone using this for support would do. They give a little. The older model didn't do this. Also, it's not a good fit for an elongated toilet bowl - the crossbar in front is exposed which can be inconvenient for a handicapped person.
