I have this bath transfer bench, and it has been wonderful. It is not like the huge cumbersome ones and is very sturdy. (we have a small bathroom) I am a heavier person, and the bench feels very secure. My husband put the bench together with no problem. It was nice to get a product that was all it was advertised to be. Well worth the price.

Great product. Well constructed. Needed a bit of elbow grease to put it together, as it is a tight fit. But that's what you want for a secure seat. There are a variety of height settings and it is great for someone with bad knees as it reduces the stress on them upon sitting and standing. The rubber grip is helpful in pushing up to stand and the rubber grip at the bottom stabalizes the seat so it is nice & secure. The resevoir around the seat has holes in it so the water can seap through it only in the tub, not at the part that sits over the edge. It is engineered well, and is what you would expect of a Mohen product. I am pleased with it. Bought it for my 84 year old Mom to help bathe her. It was pricey, but how can you put a price on improving the quality of life of a loved one? It is worth it to me to know I have peace of mind getting my Mom in and out of the tub. Good job, Mohen! This chair is very helpful. I had a hip replacement and need to use this in my tub/shower combination. Without it, I wouldn't be able to get into the shower because my leg won't lift high enough yet. One shortcoming is that after showering, the chair is slippery, even after rinsing everything off before getting out. I need to stand up and towel the seat off before transferring out.
