This versatile moisture barrier helps prevent transepidermal water loss (TEWL). Works effectively on diaper rash caused by wetness, urine and stool. Protects skin and relieves dry, chapped, denuded or cracked skin. Skin is protected by dimethicone (1) along with several other advanced silicones. This combination helps Nutrashield last after repeated washing. Ideal for patients with very dry skin, such as that associated with venous leg ulcers, and can be used under compression wraps. Active ingredients include dimethicone (1) and enhanced ingredients include Olivamine?, organic aloe vera and natural oils. Olivamine is a blend of antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins and methylsulfonylmethane (MSM). These ingredients are all known to play a vital role in basic cellular construction and protection. Olivamine contains antioxidants like hydroxytyrosol, the most potent antioxidant known today (derived from olives). It also contains amino acids like L-proline, L-cysteine and glycine, three of the main building blocks of collagen. These components are also treated with photoacoustic resonance to help minimize the tendency for inflammation, and to ensure they can be rapidly accepted by the skin.

Wonderful Product
I've been using Nutrashield for a long time. If you have very dry skin, particularly on hands, it will work all day to keep them from cracking and peeling. Overstock had a very good price on this and it arrived within a few days.

Love this cream!
I used this cream when my husband was in the hospital. My hands were so rough from the constant washing. This cream not only smoothed the roughness but forms a protective barrier so my hands didn't dry out from the constant sanitizing. It is amazing!

Wonderful!
This is the best lotion for Dry or Cracked Skin. I was originally given this by a Doctor to help with dry skin on my foot. It eliminated it within 2 weeks and has kept it away. It contains lots of citrus oils so it has a pleasant scent, it is absorbed quickly into your skin and does not leave a greasy film like many lotions.
