Medline Disposable White Bed Sheets (Case of 25)

Theses disposable sheets were simply stacked in the shipping box with no overwrap, which seemed quite unsanitary for beddding sheets. They had a somewhat unpleasant odor, from the cardboard shipping box most likely. Many corrugated cardboard shipping boxes have a strong smell from the pulp mill where they were made, and this transferred to the unwrapped sheets. I supposed the sheets could have smelled funky themselves, I'll never know. Worst of all, the sheets started degrading and tearing immediately. Simply lying on them caused them to rip, shred and become useless long before morning. The patient who used them was rather inactive, and didn't move around much, so that wasn't an issue. Since they tore so easily, they never performed their job as a barrier/protective sheet. They were USELESS for one single night of protection!! I found these sheets unpleasant and unsatisfactory in every way, and would never purchase them again. Again, items like these should always be overwrapped, and never thrown directly into the shipping box, for cleanliness considerations.

Medline Disposable Bed Sheets are a very high quality product that successfully met a health need of a less allergenic sheet/cover to be used at medical appointments. Increasingly, the paper products used at medical offices are of poor quality and often treated with anti-microbials, which sounds like a good idea, but probably is not, at least in general situations, because increasing numbers of patients cannot tolerate and get reactions to them. These are a great alternative, so patients can be certain they don't leave an appointment with more problems than when they arrived. The $2.95 flat shipping was a great deal, but the shipping box was flimsy and the sheets inside not in any sort of protective box or plastic bag, so I ended up having to throw away two out of twenty-five just to make certain they were clean. I would have gladly paid more in order to be able to make certain they are properly wrapped and shipped.

This product exceeded my expectations. The size meets my requirements and the sheets are comfortable, and durable. It would be nice if they came with a travel pouch.
