VERY sturdy, VERY convenient!
Really the main negative with this table were the instructions, which were ridiculously confusing for a box that essentially came with 3 pieces and a few bolts & casters!! Turns out it's already partially assembled, so keep that in mind when you're trying to figure out which pieces they're talking about! There is also a lot of confusing language around what turns out to be the main vertical bar, which supports the up/down/hold features using an air system, that is actually pretty neat once together! Here's my advice: throw out the directions with the packaging. You seriously don't need it, and almost all of my time in assembly was reading them! Turns out, it's a pretty simple set-up - just put the pieces where they obvious go, put the bolts & casters in, and done. Don't worry about getting the vertical raise to work, because it will once the table is upright. Man, I wish I'd gotten this advice before I got this table :) So that all being said, this table is great, and absolutely solid. I actually use it as a portable desk for my PC monitor, so I can use my desktop PC as a laptop. It holds this expensive equipment completely solidly and securely, which is what I was afraid of. I can easily move it back and forth, up and down, absolutely no shaking or worry - only problems are with the monitor's flimsy stand!! Surprisingly, also fits in with my modern decor, in its industrial way. Who knew?

Perfect!
I have a condition that requires my legs to be up if sitting for any length of time and this was perfect for when I want to write on my laptop. I use it in my guest bedroom with the bed and the table slides easily under the bed and I can raise and lower it pretty easily, too. It was very easy to put together (I did it by myself in about 10 minutes, came with all the tools you need). I like the plastic grey top with side cup holders better than the wood laminate like in a hospital, it is not high tech but more appealing to me - i use it for painting, too!

Just as described!
The table arrived promptly and was so easy to assemble. I had read other reviews before receiving it and found I had the same positive experience. The table is easily adjustable and very sturdy. This table also comes with all of the tools you will need to assemble it which was perfect since I had ordered it for my 86 year old mother and was at her home and not my own. The tools were sturdy and easy to use as well.

easy, sturdy & fast delivery
I have been looking for an overbed table and researching them for a month. The ones built specifically for computers were pricy and seemed hard to adjust (I had been borrowing a friends for a few weeks), Also I have an antique metal bed frame which is and additional 7" off the floor so I needed one to accomodate the height. When I saw this product had a pnumatic adjustment for th eheight - I ordered it. It arrived in 2 days. Assembled it in 10 min ( might want a 2nd person just to steady the pieces as you tighten them). I works great! Can adjust from sitting position in bed! Love the different heights from standing to any chair height. Surface is nice - small roll on edge but does not bother me when typing. Can be used for eating, crafts etc. My cats have been on it and no problems with tipping. I love it!
