I am on the relatively young side, but needed a shower chair due to a health condition. It was really nice to find one that is both functional and attractive. It is quite sturdy, also, with rubber feet to keep it in place. It also has adjustable height, which was nice for me since I am tall.

I purchased this for my 82-year-old mother, who suffers from severe RA and osteo arthritis. I chose this chair because I knew she would not be able to use the slot-type 'handles' that most chairs have. The handles are removable, which really helps each person tailor the chair to their own needs. My mom has a fear of falling, and this chair is nice and wide and very sturdy. My husband put it together in just a couple of minutes-no tools needed- and it was good to go. The bathing nurse that assists my mother is also thrilled with it. A great product, and I also love that the purchase supports a search for the cure for breast cancer.

I don't have to worry about my mother tipping over or sliding around with this chair. It was a good choice and good value.
