  • Picture shows a different stool than what you get

    I purchased two of these because it had the air relief grommet on the side of the stool. I am a physician and am up and down on the stool at least 40 times per day. The air relief grommet on the side prevents the seams from blowing out when you sit on them. The picture shows the air relief grommet just to the right of the handle but the ones I got shipped do not have them. BOO!

    This is one of the best buys I ever made. This stool is adjustable so I can use it at the kitchen sink, when I'm putting away sheets & towels into my linen closet, or to pull up at my computer desk for my grandson to sit next to me as we play scrabble at my PC. I even roll it next to the wall outlet in my home office to set my cell phone on so it can charge up, that way I won't forget to put the phone back in my purse when it's charged. It rolls smoothly, it can be set at any height, and the seat is easy to clean. It couldn't be any better, and I use it nearly every day.

    My daughter is a cosmetology student and cuts mine and my husband's hair. She also does my makeup and found this adjustable height rolling stool the perfect helper when working on us. But the REAL reason I purchased the stool is because I am an artist with my studio upstairs and found I became instantly more productive upon receiving the stool. When canvas painting, my range of motion while on the stool allows for more comfort & higher productivity. And it's better for my lower back than any other chair I had up there!!     Have four of these. Some come with 3" padding, others with 4" padding in seat. May be how material is stretched over foam. Overall Comfortable and easy to use. Use in dressing room area, great for sitting on to tie shoes and put socks on and also in kitchen bar area.     I bought 2 of these. when they arrived, one is missing the metal center pole. I requested product return on overstock website and typed in the comments, missing center pole.   • I have vinyl plank flooring, and my current (very inexpensive) chair has split (hard) casters that indent the floor. Are the casters solid or split? Would you consider the casters hard material or softer (thus friendly to vinyl plank flooring)?
