My daughter is a cosmetology student and cuts mine and my husband's hair. She also does my makeup and found this adjustable height rolling stool the perfect helper when working on us. But the REAL reason I purchased the stool is because I am an artist with my studio upstairs and found I became instantly more productive upon receiving the stool. When canvas painting, my range of motion while on the stool allows for more comfort & higher productivity. And it's better for my lower back than any other chair I had up there!! It is very easy to transport up or down stairs, as the weight is not too heavy or too light. I am so pleased!

Have four of these. Some come with 3" padding, others with 4" padding in seat. May be how material is stretched over foam. Overall Comfortable and easy to use. Use in dressing room area, great for sitting on to tie shoes and put socks on and also in kitchen bar area. Wipe clean material with soft cushy seat Will purchase again as needed for additional needs.

I bought 2 of these. when they arrived, one is missing the metal center pole. I requested product return on overstock website and typed in the comments, missing center pole. They sent me the metal pole in a few days, which is nice because I really liked the chairs and did not want the hassle of returning the whole box.

Very well constructed and comfortable, yes. But fully extended it reached to just 23.5 inches -- which compressed a further inch or so when we sat on it. Unfortunately, we needed the 25 inches that was advertised to fit comfortably at a kitchen counter. Read the assembly instructions -- and don't skip the admonition to remove the black safety cap. If you assemble the three pieces intuitively, you might miss that, as I did. To remedy, remove the screws beneath the seat, which will reveal the cap, which can then be removed. (Thanks to the manufacturer's customer service rep for that tip.) Be aware, too, that it goes together *extremely* solidly. That's good if you're keeping it, not so much if you want to return it. To separate the pieces, the customer service rep recommended using a rubber mallet.

I'm very pleased with my little stool; I actually have a fan sitting on it, to redirect the fan breeze just swivel the seat to whichever direction you need. It's located in the office for my husband to sit on when we're at the computer together.

The chair appears to be well made and I've had no problems with this stool. The only reason that I gave it a 4 star is the seat is just not that comfortable to me. Maybe with use and over time the seat will become softer?

Purchased as a desk chair because of the ability to change the seat height. Works great, supports weight and rolls easily. Very soft seat. Can't use for extended periods, though because of the softness of the seat. Also use at round table to do puzzles, easy to move around, and fits under the table when not in use. This stool is attractive enough to leave out in the family room, at the desk, or wherever you want to use it.

I bought this for my sewing room which is on a tile floor. Because I can adjust the height for the proper jobs, I have much better posture, decreasing back and shoulder fatigue.
