These was a nice variety of good quality brushes. The reddish wood handles and the badger hair made them look nice as well. The company delivered the brushes in a timely manner.

  • Good for doing a cat eye "flick"

    Oct 8, 2014

    arcadiarose  from Portland, OR, Rating:4.0

First of all, the photo shown with this product is incorrect. The silicone brush has the same purple handle, but the head couldn't be more different. This is not a "brush" in the sense of having bristles. This item DOES NOT have bristles. This is more of an applicator or tool, with a single stiff but somewhat flexible silicone head instead of bristles. It's the weirdest brush I've ever used. It's best use by far is for the cat eye "flick," using liquid (best), gel or smudgeable pencil liner. I personally did not find it great for actually applying the liner. I found it best to apply the liner with a regular brush, then flick the end with this for the cat eye. It doesn't really work well with powder shadow/liner.

  • The brush is fine, but the case is cheap

    Oct 8, 2014

    arcadiarose  from Portland, OR, Rating:2.0

The bristles on this are soft, yet firm and hold their shape really well. The brush a good job of applying lip color precisely. The pink case, while cute, is kind of cheap. It seems to extend and retract OK, but it feels cheap. The cap doesn't fit properly and doesn't stay on. So this is no good for keeping in your purse. I would not recommend this nor buy it again.

  • Really scratchy & useless

    Oct 8, 2014

    arcadiarose  from Portland, OR, Rating:1.0

This is an awful, awful brush. I love ME's eye shadows, but this brush is scratchy and does not hold product. I like to use fluffy angled brushes for applying mineral shadow base colors from lid to browbone. This just makes the shadow fall everywhere. The only use it has is blending once color is on the eye, but it's not even very good at that. And did I mention it feels scratchy? I won't be buying any more of their brushes.

  • Great for cream or creamy powder foundation

    Oct 8, 2014

    arcadiarose  from Portland, OR, Rating:5.0

This is a wonderful brush. The bristles are soft but firm. The handle is comfortable. It's a perfect size and shape for blending on cream or creamy powder foundations. Highly recommend.
