Safety First
After two months of hospital stays for both cancer and pacemaker surgery, I was finally considered able to return home. One of the most important safety items suggested during my rehab was a shower chair or stool,especially since I had to stand in my tub to take a shower. I researched online until I found this one and snapped it up. It was definitely the right choice. Excellent price aside, this stool is remarkably sturdy. The seat is solid, with drain holes and a non-slippery surface. It is wide enough for most bottoms. But the main reason I chose this stool was because the four feet were encased in good-sized suction cups. I have an old-fashioned cast iron tube with a rounded bottom and this shower stool is totally stable in it. I have just ordered one as a gift for a dear friend to use in her shower. If you are considering a shower stool for any reason I highly recommend this one.

Nice shower chair
The only thing to keep in mind about this seat is that the legs sit out slightly from the seat itself, so you cannot put the seat flush against the wall of the shower. Other than that, it's just great. I put a towel on the seat because the noise of the shower water hitting it drives me bonkers.

Mabis shower seat
Product is functional, but I suggest paying close attention to its dimensions for proper fit where buyer plans to use it. It occupies almost the entire width of a standard bathtub.
