This was a God Send, as my husband had a terminal disease of cancer and his pace maker was nearing the end of it's line for medicare to allow them to replace it. However, due to his auto immune disease, they would not replace it, and the doctor would not send him over to an oncologist that might have saved his life if done properly. We also needed it for our mentally handicapped daughter Melanie, which I wrote about in the other things purchased. Her pain would cause her blood pressure to rise, so it is handy to tell us what her needs are. She is on special pain medication and this tells us to watch for her needs and report to the doctor. Everyone should have a cuff to keep track of their pressures. I neven use it and am on BP medication. But, doing great. I think the machine is afraid of me! Ha! I will live to be in my 90's just to show it can be done with good proper Christian living! God Bless!

I found that the few times I had to go to the ER with my blood pressure or when the EMT's had to pick me up at the house the monitor matched their number exactly. I highly recommend the product.

This is a very easy blood pressure cuff for anyone to use. I purchased for a 90 year old, and she is very happy with it's ease of use and how easy it is to read. Previous research I had done on bp cuffs suggested this one as one of the best and it has lived up to those ratings.

Loved the BP monitor - easy to use and accurate readings. Appreciate that I don't have to pump up the cuff myself like I did with my old monitor.

((lifesource ua-787)) i had to get a blood pressure monitor for home use, and i hate shopping for things because i'm so picky. but i'm very happy with my choice. my doctor gave me a list of recommended monitors, which i used in conjunction with my own research. i narrowed it down to this model -- it seemed to be the best choice at the price point, so i went for it. somehow i knew i made a good choice when i took it out of the box. i haven't had it tested by my doc yet, but i think it's accurate enough. the cuff makes it easy to put on, and it's easy to use. i didn't rate the instructions because i honestly haven't read them yet. i figured out on my own how to scan through the memory so i could take a list of measurements to my doctor the other day. it's got a decent grey-tone color scheme, which i like way more than that insipid cream/alabaster color. told you i was picky. ;)

Considering that the operation of a BP Monitor shouldn't cause me any stress, I found that after one month of use, the only frustration is the length of the inflation hose and the connector to the DRO. The length of the hose could be longer and the connector could have a more positive feel. Other wise, I am quite happy.

Quick and easy to use. Display window makes it easy to read and the monitor's readings are accurate. I use to monitor several times a day.

I got the Life Source blood pressure monitor just a few days after ordering (thanks Overstock!) and have used it daily since. It's very easy to put the cuff on alone and the readings are accurate. It stores previous readings so you can step through to see your history. One feature I would like to see is the ability to copy the history to a USB or memory card so I can put it onto my computer.
