Plus, they get loud enough to easily block out lawn mowers (and other noisy outside issues) and have a good variety of white noise & fan settings. The only negatives is that we would have LOVED the option for some nature sounds like rain failing, and they are on the pricier end for this category of product

Pleasant white noise. Just the basics - a gentle roar, fan noise or maybe an oscillating fan. No thunder and lightening, trickling streams, etc. We love it (my dog and I). Both of us are able to sleep through the night with no problem - no creeky house noises, or disturbances from night owl neighbors.

And if you're like me, you know what a huge inconvenience that can be, especially when traveling! The LectroFan is an absolute miracle for me. It's compact enough to fit in a suitcase, but can pack the punch of a full size fan. Just play around with the 10, yes TEN different fan sounds until you find the one you prefer, or switch to the other side for 10 more non-fan sounding sounds! This thing is seriously a life saver!
