The blow dryer works very well, but there is definitely room for improvement in it's design. It is very easy to turn the dryer off or change the settings because of the position of the hot/cold switches on the handle. Other than that, it is an excellent tool. It dries the hair quickly, it doesn't leave a burnt smell, and there are no little broken pieces of hair all over the floor (like with other dryers I've used in the past). After using this baby, I know I'll never be satisfied with another low-wattage hair dryer again--it's got me spoiled! The flat iron is not impressive at all, so I will be giving it away. I wish I had purchased the standalone dryer instead of the set.

Love the hair dryer. I was looking for a tool that would speed up the drying time and this one does the trick. I have long, fine, layered hair, and besides how fast it dries it, also leaves it very soft and shiny. The flat iron got damaged during shipping, however, I contacted Overstock customer service and they quickly followed up and sent me the replacement right away. I tried it and works great as well. I have to say they do have top quality customer service!! A+++. I think this is a great value combo.

I have really liked using this product (only the blow-dryer so far because my hair is too short for the iron until it grows out). This dryer has dried my hair very fast and kept it much smoother than any dryer in the past. My hair looks a lot healthier after I dry it with this dryer and it has much more volume. Considering how much power it seems to have, it's fairly quiet although it's not the quietest blow-dryer out there there and it does advertise itself as quiet. Using the nozzle attachments when styling after basically drying (as it advises in the instructions) is very helpful. I also like that you have a high/lo option in terms of power and heat/cool. The cold air is much colder than some of the cool options on other dryers I've used and this adds shine and controls frizz. The cord is also conveniently pretty long and sturdy looking. Plus there is a turbo button that I haven't even used yet. God only knows what that might do! All in all, a great product and more affordable than a lot of the others!

The flat iron does not work well. It often does not heat up. The Blow dryer however is excellent and powerful it dries in minutes. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE DRYER BY ITSELF. THE FLAT IRON IS NO GOOD

The straightener is decent. It just takes a little while to warm up and squeaks while using it. I love the blow dryer. Although, as previous reviews stated it is a little bulky the job it does is fantastic! I feel like I am getting a blow out at the salon. The results make up for the bulkiness, which is not unmanageable.

Flat Iron is excellent. Dryer controls are located on hand piece making it cumbersome to handle without changing settings. Packaging states "for professional use" - maybe professionals are more accustomed to this style. Power on dryer is great and its very quiet.
