  • Great BB Cream

    This is an excellent product for good coverage. I have a lot of red undertone and this cancels that out completely. I apply a light coat of Jane Iredale's purepressed base mineral foundation over this to set the BB cream. The pressed powder decreases the appearance of pores. It gives a heavy coverage, yet it still feels natural. I need to use a moisturizer along with the Jane Iredale smooth affair primer under the BB cream, otherwise, it doesn't smooth on so well. I have dry skin so I must prime my skin first. With that said, this is a great product when used with other Jane Iredale products as she recommends. I like that it also has an SPF 25. This is wonderful for me in southern California. I don't have to worry about applying a messy sunscreen. Make sure you purchase the correct color. I got BB1 color on overstock.com and it was way too light. However, I use it to conceal and highlight on occasion. I went to a department store and purchased the BB5 cream. I can use the BB5 or BB6 and it is a perfect color. So be careful when choosing a color, if new to the product, you may want to go to store and be color matched first. Prices here are much better. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I only like it when used with the purepressed foundation product over it. It gives the perfectly smoothed out look. Minimizes wrinkles and pores when used together. Also, use the Pommist Hydration spray on top. Skin has a perfectly smooth velvet appearance when used together!

  • Good but definitely ordered the wrong shade

    I was so excited to try this out when I ordered it. However, I apparently ordered the wrong shade. I have fair skin and in foundation I always use the lightest shade or maybe the next to lightest if it is summer. With that being said I applied this to my face and I looked like a ghost or close to a mime. I don't know who could wear this shade except for an albino person. I do like the product coverage and how it does reduce the appearance of pores. It will NOT wash off with water so I like that as well. So as I cannot return it since it is so white I will use it to contour my face a bit.
