These are liner, I guess to be used with an adult dieper. I wear them as a pad. They are of course thinner than most pads, but they are also wider, being wider they contain leaks better, and being thinner makes them more comfortable. So if you wear a pad try using these liners instead. Yes you will have to change them more often but they are very ecconomic being a good price, and also I know I like to change my pad very frequently anyway. They also seem to take up less room in a purse as they look like a large thick napkin.
