Great Product, Even Better Price!
I had seen the ads on tv & heard people talking about it for over a year, but I never really gave much credibility due to it being an 'As Seen On TV' item. Then my mother bought one, and I tried it out. I was amazed! My hair was smooth & straight in 1/3 of the time it took with my flat iron. I have longer (shoulder blade length) hair that is medium to thin and very wavy w/ ringlets curls. I always blow dry my hair w/ a round brush first, then straighten. It is so easy to do w/ the InStyler! I have done it w/o blue drying my hair first (just letting it air dry), and it was quite a bit more work and tangles were a small issue. I did see that there were several other reviews complaining about burns, but I have only slightly burned myself once- which was b/c I have my left hand so trained to grab the end of my flat iron for two hand holding, but you quickly adapt and learn to use only one hand to hold it with. When I am pulling it down my hair, I'm pulling it more out at an angle (so no burns on neck or ears). I also don't start right at the roots, but more an inch or two out (so no scalp burns). Overall, I highly recommend the InStyler (at least for my hair type). And buying it reconditioned is a great way to save a substantial amount of money! I could not tell a difference between mine and my mother's brand new one.

Amazing!!!!!
I LOVE MY NEW IN STYLER!! I was a bit hesitant to take the reconditioned as I usually only purchase new products. To my surprise, it works perfectly. You would never know it's not new!!! Definitely would reccomend this.

Works Great but not quite as well as on TV
This rotating iron was reconditioned but I could not tell. It was packaged as if brand new and had no flaw, yet, it was about 1/2 the price off retail. I really like this product but 1) my hair does not turn out as straight and shiny as the girls on the infomercial - but maybe I need to try some hair products in conjunction with using the iron and 2) I would be leary of using it too often. After about 3 uses in 5 days, my hair was looking a bit fried. It does work well, and works better than other flat irons I have tried. I have very curly/frizzy med-long hair (below my shoulders).

Happy Customer
I had seen it a lot demonstrated on TV. I decided to get one because I did not want to put anymore chemicals on my hair to straighten it. I'm African American and I stopped putting a relaxer on my hair and went back to natural. The In-Styler works great on my hair. It is easy to maneuver once you get the hang of it. I went on the In Styler website to purchase it and it would cost around $$$ once you finished the monthly payments after the initial $14.95 trial payment. I thought of looking here in hopes of finding one that would cost less and to my amazement and joy I was able to get it here for half the price (without a $14.95 trial pay). I'm so happy I thought of it before I paid the enormous price for it. I am happy with my In Styler as well as all my purchases here on Overstock. Thanks!

Consider other hair styling tools
I recently purchased the in-styler and it runs fine. Not amazing but fine. In very good condition for being refurbished. Not worth buying for almost $100. It takes longer to straighten than it does for a regular flat iron.

Good, not great
When it comes to straightening hair, its OK. It looks the same when I use my straightener, frizzy, but that's just my hair, I'm almost sure it would work great on someone elses hair. Curls on the other hand are great. They take about 10 (or 12 seconds for me) and are so pretty and bouncy.

Didn't find it user friendly
I've been watching the InStyler infomercials for quite some time but didn't want to pay that much. Then I saw that Walgreen's is carrying them for $99. I figured Overstock would have an even better price. Which they did. I did find it hard to use since you can really only use one hand. The rotating action and heat on the barrel doesn't let you use your other hand. And I'm just not good at using one arm to do hair. The product was good and in nice shape but it's obviously easier to use when someone else is doing your hair.

The only styling tool you will ever need!!!!
From the first time I used it I was happy.Being African American it worked well with my hair and I luv it..I seen other comments saying you have to get use to using it but on my first try I was a pro..so I highly recommend this prouct for everyone!!!
