I would say I only buy hot tool hail straightners. This is very nice and gets very hot quick. Also you can straighten hair alot better with this one because of the size it is very wide. At the same time that is the only down fall as well because bulky. All around review it is amazing for the price I have always payed over $60 for a flat iron.

I bought this iron for my daughter and she loves it. I used it the other day and is great . It heats very fast, my hair is curly and I was finished in less than 10 minutes. Don't waste your money buying those expensive ones. This one will do the job

I bought this for my teenage daughter. My co-workers kept telling me that I should go to the salon to buy one because I would end up replacing cheaper ones enough that I would end up spending the $100 on a "good" one. I just couldn't bring myself to do that. I was blown away when I saw how much flat irons cost. I refused to spend that kind of money on a iron. I have never spent more than $15 on any iron that I have ever owned and they have all lasted for years. So I was delighted when I came across this iron. It gets very hot and has a wide base which allows for a good amount of hair to be done in a section. It is well made and my daughter loves it! Definately a great buy!

This isn't the most compact model out there, but it heats up quickly, doesn't snag, and does its job well--and for a fraction of the cost of other straighteners! I've been using this for about a year and a half now, and it is still working just as well as it did the day I received it. Another review mentioned that the heat setting is easy to hit and thus change, but I've not had any issues with this. Buy this--it works fabulously and is very, very cheap compared to other models out there!

This is an excellent product. If you want to save money and get a great flat iron this is the one for you. It gets extremely hot and heats up quickly. I've never been able to style my hair so fast. Love it!!

Do not waste your money, i have owned hair iron for 250-300 dollars, and amazingly this one does exactly the same or even better job. wide iron helps you straighten your hair faster...absolutely great value..dot even think twice before buing it...buy it before it goes out of stock. i bought one for myself and one for my friend..so cheap and such a great value!!!

I would recommend this to others. My wife had the 1" Chi, and thought she needed 2", so I got her this one. She uses both.

Bought this for myself and kiddos. Plugged unit in, set it on "1" (the lowest setting), and began to straighten my hair per the instructions. The unit definitely works! My hair was so hot after just one pass of the iron that I actually burned my finger on my hair!!!!! WOW!! I would hate to see what happens when you crank this thing up to "10". Will let kiddos use it only under my supervision. Would not recommend for use without supervision of an adult for anyone under 18.

I didn't want to spend a ton on a flat iron because I don't always like my hair poker straight and wasn't sure I'd use it much. This one arrived very quickly and I could tell that it's made well. It gets hot fast! So far I'm very happy with it. My only regret is that I didn't get one a little narrower because I have short hair and this one would be better suited to someone with more hair than I have.

I had been in the market for a flat iron for quite a while but found most to be too expensive. This one heats up quickly, is easy to adjust and works great on my thick, African American hair. Try it at the lower settings first because you can always turn it up. You don't want to burn or otherwise damage your hair.

I'm going to try and give a fair review of the product, as I feel most people tend to be a bit overzealous in their reviews in general. I've used this flat iron for 4 years. I love how quickly it gets super hot and how friggin' cheap it is! I have really long, thick, wavy hair and this works great. There are a couple of minor downfalls to this flat iron though. I've owned two of them and each seem to start not heating up as well and the plastic covering the plates starts wearing down (which can end up allowing your hand to get burned) after about two years. Also, this flat iron seems to damage my hair more than others out on the market now. For those reasons, after four years, I am purchasing a different flat iron. Don't get me wrong I would still recommend this flat iron to those with coarse, hard to manage hair who are on a budget. It really is a good flat iron; just make sure to always use thermal protection!

i made sure i read the reviews before i bought this product. most of the reviews gave it 4-5 rating. now, i,myself,am giving it a 5! it does the job in less time and does it so perfectly. this tool is my 3rd fave, next to my laptop and celfon. and oh, by the way, the delivery was fast ! making Overstock my fave online shopping site !

I had this flat iron for over 7 years and it was still going strong until I dropped it TWICE! I almost cried, but was so relieved to find it on Overstock, for MUCH LESS than I paid for it 7 years ago. Don't hesitate! If you use flat irons, this is the best one you'll ever have!

I bought this as a christmas present for my girlfriend. This is her second one as she stepped on the first one (which she has had for a few years now) and broke it. I originally went to the mall to purchase this where I would have spent $80 on it! It was so inexpensive that I was able to buy a 2 year replacement plan on it and buy her a few more gifts this year! Anyway she loves it and I couldnt be more pleased either.
