I ordered this fountain for the purpose of some background noise in my living room. However, after having it there for a couple of weeks, I felt it was better in my office instead. It would also work as a night light, as the mosaic colors cast a pretty site on a nearby wall. Overall, I'm happy with the fountain. Price is right and have had no problems with it so far. I would have liked to see a switch on it though that allowed for the ball in the middle to sit still, rather than only turning. Also, the globe portion is plastic and you can see the seams where it comes together. Probably not a big deal, but does cheapen it slightly. Again, for the price and use of what I was wanting it for, it works just great.

Got it for hubby for Christmas and set it up at the office. It works great, glows beautifully. The downsides (which are small) are: it could use a few more of the little rocks and the directions are not clear enough, I was really worried about putting plugs in under the water part in the water fountain, but that's how it's set up and the water does not spark anything. I wish the directions would state that, so I could've known that was safe to do. In other words, the cord is submerged in the water. Besides that fact (which we never leave on if no one is in the room), it is a very awesome fountain (the best I've seen!). No splashing happens!

I love this product! I got it and it looks great! The bowl looks like metal even though I think it's plastic. The ball has a seem down the center because it's plastic and you can't see it when it's on. It looks great. I can't hear the pump. I accidently left it on when I left the house. When I came home it was the only thing on in the house. The colors where glowing on the wall and it looked so romantic. The water flows beautifully over the ball. It's a great fountain!

Me and my co-workers are enjoying this fountain immensely! I had battery fountains, and wasn't happpy with always having to replace the batteries. This electric fountain solves that problem. It's great for an office environment! (Midget is my dog-not me)
