This is the least relaxing sound machine you could ever purchase. Basically has a really bad version of the generic "white noise" sound. With that being said, the other sounds were even worse. After I found out the baby did nothing but cry when it was on, I tried to find a person in the house that could stand to have it in their bedroom. No takers. It's going to make a return to the big O.

I bought this mainly for the white noise function. It is compact and has a timer on it which helps save the battery life. The white noise has worked great for my baby though I personally don't find the other sounds especially soothing.
