I suffer from chronic backpain due to an injury and have spent countless dollars on chiropractors, massages, medication and phys therapy...name it, I've done it (except surgery!). I got this as a last ditch effort although it doesn't cure me of my injury, it does help with the knots in my back that are resulting from the injury and the stress of it. I have it on my work chair and it really relieves the ache of sitting in the chair, not to mention it feels great! The heat especially is particularly helpful with the pain!!! I hope this lasts! what a godsend! I love coming to work now if you can believe it! LOL

If you do not own at least one Homedics Shiatsu Massager, no matter which model, you are really missing out. I use my massager dozens of times a day, and though I have worn some of them out, Homedics has been GREAT about shipping a new massager within the 2 yr warranty period. You ship them back the old broken one (following instructions on their website, where you should also register your product) and they send a new one.This particular model has a separate head and neck massager that you can set to really dig in to those painful spots. Though the back massager section does not travel as high as the massagers without the the separate head/neck massage, between the two, you can move around to cover all areas, even if you do head and neck first, and then back. Get yourself a deep chair that you can sit in comfortably with the massager in place (it does take up seat room) and you will find yourself using it all the time. A great product at a great price.
