Was looking for back pain muscle release at home product. Read reviews and went forward. You do need a cusion or a folded blanket under you as rollers will dig into your back. The machine does not effectvely do neck and shoulders..However, if you align your body up on folded balnkets-I can tell you I have fallen asleep on this mat during the process-so that should tell you something. It helps if you have had massage (not the touchy feely kind-but the pressure point kind) if you are going to use this. Its a nice way to take some time for your self, relax and enjoy

This is a great product to relax on after a long day. It isn't too rough or too soft. I still prefer a person to massage me, but this is definitely worth the price!

My husband was thoroughly surprised and happy with his father's day present. He's had some back problems lately and we've looked at other massage units but they were all so pricey and usually required another person to hold it. This one was fairly priced and delivers a strong massage. The first time he used it was right before bed and he said he woke up in the morning for the first time without back pain. My only complaint would be that for a big guy like him (6'3,200+lbs) the mat is a little narrow, but he put pillows on the side for his arms and that seems to work. The whole family has enjoyed it!

I absolutely love this thing! I have tried many back massagers. And this one by far is the best! It feels great to be able to lay down, and get a nice deep massage. Its much better than any of the massagers that fit in chairs. I have used it in my bed, and on the floor. I would have tried it on a couch, but I don't own one. You can just lay back, relax, and let the masseur do its magic! It arrived very quickly. Within days. And was in perfect condition. For anyone looking for a deep, soothing massage, get this one!

PROS: -For the price of 2 massages you can buy this masseur -It has two types of massage plus heat, & it does a good job CONS: -It was a little too rough for my back but the additional placement of a towel between the masseur and my back it is great -The masseur only massages your spine and a few inches on either side unlike a massage given by a person who would rub your entire backside (so to speak) ***overall since I can't afford a massage very often this was a great solution

I have bought several home massaging project in the past; this is definately the best. Really feels like a masseur in the house.

Finally ... a massage pad that is not in a chair that allows you to put your full weight on it. This thing does a great job for an automatic 'massager' ... definitely worth the xxx. Every friend of mine who used it thought it felt amazing. The only drawbacks (minor): 1) The 'remote' could use a back-light (its a little hard to read in low light). Of course this may be my eyes! 2) It doesn't reach the neck .. but this is because it is designed for the back You will NOT be disappointed if you buy this!

Although not as pretty as a Swedish masseuse this product delivers an intense effective massage. The user can select the entire back, a region of the back or concentrate on a specific spot.

I have severe neck and back issues. Having this product in my home is helping so much! The massage is strong enough but not too strong. The heat works well too. I especially enjoy the fact that you can focus on one part of your back with either type of massage. It is not too heavy and the handles do help moving it around. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who would like a massage on a regular basis without having to leave your home
