I am an avid fan, collector and user of Himilayan salt blocks that are meant for cooking & food related uses. When I saw this "Sushi Presenter" on Overstock I was excited and could not wait to receive it so I could serve some sushi in the same fashion I have steaks and chops: on top of a beautiful pink Himalayan salt block. WHAT A DISAPOINTMENT! The only sushi that could be presented on this tiny salt block is for an individual who desires 2 or less pieces. There was no substance to this. ALL the other Himalayan Salt blocks that I have obtained over the years create a "WOW" factor when the food is brought out on them. This one had an "OHHHH! how pathethic factor". The picture makes it look far better, bigger and more substantial than it is. When I opened the box; I was expecting a hunk of salt, like I have received before when dealing with similar products. What I got here was what appeared to be the leftover or the extra piece the manufacturer gives you as a bonus. This was VERY DISAPOINTING! SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR REAL HIMALAYAN SALT BLOCKS; NOT THIS WANNABE BLOCK! DO NOT BUY THIS. IT IS OVERPRICED FOR WHAT IT IS AND A BIG DISAPOINTMENT!

I ordered three of these blocks. I sent one to my son and he just loves his. I ordered two for me and one arrived broken. Overstock took care of it right away and sent me a free return label for UPS and ordered me a replacement block immediately. I also got a courtesy call from the company owner of the Black Tai Company who provides the blocks to Overstock. He was pleasant and was really interested in what had happened. I love the bright pink color and it really is salty! It's just perfect for serving sashimi and carpaccio or tartare. It is beautiful to look at too. I will order from Overstock again!
