i purchased this item thinking it had the shiastu method as it was described only to find that its a series of motors trunning in sequence. what a bummer. Id send it back but overstock gets you with their restocking fees and such. it would be nice if they were more specific when it comes to purchasing a product such as this .IM still looking for a massager where it has the shiastu balls .now thats a good product. this one id steer away from

i bought this for my son for christmas, but of course i tried it myself and did not care for it. it was loud!!!!!! my dog was scared to death of it she was barking and carrying on when i turned it on !!!! i hope my son likes it! it was extremely loud. i don't know if the heat works or not didn't leave it on long enough to find out. lol

I bought this item less than 2 weeks ago for my weekly 400 mile roundtrip commute to my school. When I first tried it out at home, it seemed to work OK. The heat function worked great, almost too hot though. The different massage functions (e.g., knead, thump) all felt like different forms of vibrate, which confused me because the description made it sound more like a deep shiatsu massage even though those words weren't actually used. After a week or so of daily use, I noticed that sometimes it didn't want to power up right away. I would unplug and replug the unit both from the wall and from the plug that connects the cord to the cushion. This would normally get it working again. Now, the end has come! I can't seem to make it power on no matter what voodoo I try. I've contacted Overstock about returning this item. I'm waiting to hear back. Save yourself some time and headache, buy something else!

The online description said it was heated, but we couldn't find any heat function, and it didn't heat automatically--instructions didn't help us solve the problem. The massage seemed to be mostly vibrations rather than strong pressure.

Great massager many setting deep massage very quiet

I do not care for this product. It's very noisy and the heat goes off when message is on.

Its not a Shaitsu, but look what your are paying, it is loud, but it does good job massaging you. Heat works well too.

I bought this item as a gift for my mother, so she didn't neccessarily have to get into a cold vehicle this winter. She is happy with her new heated vibrating seat. Thank you!

heat don't work with massager at the same time, and the noise is high

This is an excellant value for the buck! I've been shoveling a lot of snow lately and using it nightly. The variety of functions is an added bonus!!!!

I bought this for my husband because he wanted a heated cushion. I thought the massage feature would just be a nice added bonus. He absolutely loves the heat feature, but the massage leaves something to be desired.

A co-worker wanted an item like this, we sat down at computer and looked in a few places, I told him I have always had great success with ordering from Overstock.com. We went there he found one he liked, I ordered it, it came within about 36 hours, from order to receiving, both he and I were amazed and of course delighted. I later asked him about the massager, he replied he was very happy with it. While I can't speak for that, I always tell othes what an excellent Overstock is to order items, and how quick shipping is. I checked the Chinese website. the price for this is 600 RMB, around $80.

I've had massage cushions before, but this one is the best one i've ever had. I especially love the rolling and wave settings. I do alot of driving in my business and I use it everyday to relax and relieve the stress.
