  • Neck/Shoulder heating pad

    Dec 16, 2013

cindyshops  from Mt. Laurel, NJ, Rating:4.0

This heating pad is good to give relief for lower neck and shoulder-upper back area. Unfortunately, it does not cover the upper neck area in which I have chronic pain. Other than that it is great, it has many heat and time adjustments and applies moist heat.

  • Really like this heating pad

    Mar 26, 2013

    dmh1218  from Seattle, WA, Rating:5.0

I really like this pad. I use it almost daily. I love the timer and ability to set the temperature. When the time is ending, it beeps so you can set up again. That is a great feature.

  • I don't like automatic shut off, flimsy

    Dec 10, 2014

jaxxon8  from san diego, ca, Rating:2.0

I guess I must be getting old, heating pads are so common, and simple. It's a hunk of cloth with heating element in it. This is so flimsy and hard. For $$ bucks I really consider the heating pad dilemma to be done… But I guess these days you have to spend more to get something that's comfortable and also works. The automatic shut off is fine for an iron, but for a heating pad? Come on. This one shut off indiscriminately, so I sent it back. I don't want to put a heating pad which is almost like putting a folded blanket onto my elderly mother and run back every 10 minutes to be sure it's still on. Irksome. Looking for something with no automatic shutoff. I think ******* makes them. This is made out of such a flimsy cloth, like what you'd use for a disposable Halloween costume, you could feel the hard plastic of the pad underneath it. Material isn't that expensive, I hate having cheesy things to use!

  • Thermotech Moist Digital Heating Pad

    May 24, 2013

    pupdoc  from Alexandria, VA, Rating:5.0

I have bought a ton of heating pads over the years, mostly from local drug stores. This time my doctor insisted that I buy a Moist type pad so I went to Overstock and found this. It is wonderful. You can set the temperature and time you want. It gets very hot which is what I need for the arthritis in my neck. It's the best one I've ever had, but probably not for the infirm that cannot move away from the heat. It can burn the skin.
