I always purchase "quiet" hairdryers. This one is quiet yet powerful. My other Revlon was quiet but didn't last so I didn't want to get it again. I would buy this again without a doubt.

This iron heats up in a flash and smooths nicely. Little bit of a learning curve. The smooth side of the iron must be up and the lined side underneath no matter which direction it is that you are styling your hair. Volume as promised.. If you want super flat hair and no lift at all this iron is not for you. I love it!! The plate is curved to lift your hair from the root.
I found potion 9 in my old salon a few years ago - as soon as I used it I loved it. They stopped carrying it after a while and then I switched salons. One night while having my hair done by my colorist I described this product, but couldn't remember the name. She knew right away what it was, so I came online and ordered 2 - at half the price of the salon I might mention :)
I bought the flat iron for my daughter who has long curly hair and it did not get hot enough to straighten her hair.
