The product is just ok. It does the job- it straightes the hair great... except..... Prior to purchasing the Croc, I owned the FHI in which I used religiously 5-6 times a week and my hair was always healthy looking.. After using the Croc I noticed my hair looking and feeling really damaged after a few uses.I agree with one of the posts.. The ceramic plating is less damaging than the titanic it seems.

This did not live up to the reviews I read on Overstock. I think the ceramic plates are more effective than the titanium ones. My daughter said reviews she read on other sites listed the Crocs as not as good as the Chi. We are reordering Chi's and hope they will last longer than some of the reviewers have stated.

This is my first flat iron and I'm liking it so far. I'm black and have very thick hair. I've let my hair air dry and then flat ironed it with the Croc and it gets pretty straight, but not salon straight. It's absolutely necessary to blowdry it first and then use the croc, and it turns out great. Also, I really dig the ergonomic design.

I have owned a Chi and Croc and we are very satisfied with both. The Chi does have a problem with the electrical cord and my husband was able to wire it straight so it does not lose the connection. The Croc is my preferred straightener. It is a wet to dry and that really help to lock in the moisture. Living in Texas you always have to fight humidity and this really helps.

The price might be a little high, but it is worth paying extra for something of this quality. I have curly hair, so it means its a bit harder to straighten my hair, however, Turbolon Croc does it effortlessly! My hairdresser recommended this flat iron, he uses it in the salon!

This is my first flat iron and I am so pleased with it. I first tried a friends Croc and was happy with the results, so I bought one, great price on Overstock and I just love it. My son's girlfriend tried it (she has vvavy/curly hair and uses flat irons on a regular basis) and said it was by far one of the best she has used. She usually buys the more expensive flat irons, CHI, GHD, H&R etc. but was impressed with how quick she was able to flat iron her hair. For me, it is easy to use and heats up quickly. It's a keeper!

My wife had a chi flat iron that I broke down and bought her a few years back after realizing that the burning hair smell I would smell sometimes was actually just that... The chi was life changing for her in the way it didn't fry her hair, etc. She is puerto rican and has thick coarse hair and sometimes the chi wouldn't get her hair completely straight, or it often wouldn't stay straight all day. Also the cord on it became kinked up from continuous winding and re-winding, and she did not like the fact that the chi had no display for heat adjustment. So she did the research, and came up with the croc, and I bought it for her birthday. Right out of tue box she says she knew it was better. Fit her hand better, had the very clear and easy to use temp adjustment, was better balanced, and she likes the spring resistance in the handle better on this one. The vent on the chi would burn her hand if she held it too high up, not so here. She says the plates on the croc glide better, and are easier to keep clean. The cord has a nice strap that lets you roll it up and store it without kinking, and has a swivel at the base that further prevents twisting. Also her hair is straighter and shinier now, and stays flat all day, even in the oklahoma humidity. All in all she is completely satisfied, which makes me completely satisfied. If I had the chance, I would recommend this iron (even over the chi) to anyone that would listen. Coming from a man that is pretty clueless when it comes to all this, all I can say is my wife can be quite particular, but every time she uses this iron, she is more than satisfied. Job well done.

I originally purchased this iron to use for travel only. I use it everyday now, and it works great. I have very thin, fine hair and the iron works well with my hair type. If you have thick hair, this iron probably isn't for you. It heats up quickly, and so far hasn't done damage to my hair.

This straightener is definitely good, but not great. It would be an excellent product if you don't have a lot of hair. I have really thick hair and it's pretty tiny, so it takes a while. However, it's small, so it's great for bangs and getting close to your scalp without burning yourself. It gets very hot, so it is effective. It'd be great if you had short hair too. Also, because it's so tiny, it's excellent for travel or taking it to use at the gym after your shower.

Heats up in ten seconds. Perfect travel iron to bring to the gym to smooth fly-aways before returning to work. The heat-protected pouch it comes in has a magnet closure and is absolutely adorable. Don't expect to be able to do your entire head of hair with this iron unless you have unusually thin hair. It is best suited for bangs and fly-aways. Great purchase.

I LOVE this flat iron. I went to hair school and have used all kinds of flat irons for my crazy curly hair, and this is the first one that has made my hair look like it's naturally straight. I went out the first night that I used it and got compliments on my hair from people who thought it was natural. I'm on day 3 without washing it and it still looks amazing. It's even been raining and humid for the last 2 days and my hair is still super straight. If you have stubborn hair or hair that frizzes even after you've spend all day fixing it, this is for you! It also cut my straightening time in half!

I love this flat iron. I have very curly hair and after a quick blow dry I just have to use this and it looks amazing after. It is easy to use and the digital temperature is a great way to get it to the exact temperature needed.

After getting a recommendation from my hair stylist I purchased this iron. I love it so far, a bit on the small side (the plates) but it does an amazing job with my hair in a short amount of time (shoulder length hair). Glad I made this purchase.

I've used several different irons for my very frizzy, curly, color treated hair & this is by far the best one that I've used. 2nd one I bought!! my daughter took my first one away to school & I was a mess without it so I bought another.

The picture is weak compared to the actual iron & the stylish packaging it arrives in. Any teen would love this as a gift since it's in a neon green color & black. Even the box is cool

I love this flat iron, it heats up very quickly, the only thing I don't care for is when you set it down you've got to lean it on something, I wish the handle had a better design, it would also be nice if it came with a thermal bag so you can put it away immediately, other than that, it works well, don't have any complaints

Very accurate-- it is small-- perfect to get right up to my roots and come down--- it works very good!-- Flattens fast and its silky and shiny after! It heats up very quickly and can get pretty hot! I used it for the first time this morning and man it worked so good! MUCH better then my 8 year old ceramic one... it is smaller then my old one which makes it easier for my fine type hair. Definatly a good purchase!

Do not waste your time purchasing this item. I bought this flat iron with the warranty and it broke after only using it for 6 weeks! It would not heat up past 200 degrees. I sent it back and received an email (finally) 6 weeks later saying they can not replace my product (even with the warranty!) It is not posted on the site again for even more money. Do not waste your time on this one. Very disappointed.
