I have used a 5 curler travel set for over 25 years and constantly looking for backup. This set has similar curlers and pins. I am happy to finally find this compact well designed replacement set. The curler has a deep core that sets securely on the heat base. In addition, as I roll, the curlers hold my hair which is thick but fine. I prefer these pins rather than clips. I don't use the 4 smaller roller but the 8 medium ones are great for my short stacked bob hairstyle.

  • Calista" heated brush curls my tough hair.

I really like the Calista heated brush. I have tried many curling irons and heated brushes without much success. They either don't curl my hair or the barrel burns my scalp and fingers and damages. My hair. The Calistak brush does neither. It has two heat settings: one for treated hair and a higher one for normal hair. I use the higher. Setting with great results. Also, the brush doesn't burn my scalp or hands .. I haven't needed the paddle brush or clips. I recommend the Calista heated brush. It is well worth the money!q

Gentle on my hair, several settings, and easy to hold because it's lightweight. Like the small loop for hanging out of sight.

In Mathis humid weather you can't go wrong with a smoothing cream from John Frieda.
