rondoffos from California, Rating:5.0I did my research and really took into account the reviews that people had left regarding all the products I was considering buying. This product was by far the most well reviewed flat iron. Nearly everyone highly reviewed it and gave it 5 stars. Even people that had these for years and were replacing them couldn't say enough good things about them...I was sold, so I bought one. So far so good! I love that i can set the heat for as high or low as I'd like and it curls as well as straightens. I feel as though I've made a great decision!

tllight67 from CA, Rating:4.0This is the 3rd CHI dryer I've purchased. The first broke just shy of one year and the second broke in six months. I would not have purchased again, but I bought and returned two other blow dryers in the meantime that did not work as well on my fine hair as this one does. So, I finally decided to buy it again, with the 2 yr warranty. I expect it to break again, but honestly notice a difference in how my hair styles using the CHI in comparison to others, so I guess I will deal with it until I find something of better quality. Its too bad the manufacturers haven't found a solution and made an upgrade, because this is clearly a common problem.

ladonna77 from Somerset, KY, Rating:5.0This product is very good, I love it. It's a powerfull blow dryer. I have very thick long blonde hair, with my old blow it would take me about 17 minutes to get my hair all the way dry with this one it takes me 10 minutes max!

anitadp from New Jersey, Rating:5.0LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this hair dryer! I have thick hair that's half way down my back. This dryer has plenty of power and I can get my hair smooth with lots of volume. It's well worth the money. The cold shot button is great, it locks in curls when using a round brush.

notname from Tampa, FL, Rating:4.0I had an old Hot Tools 1.5 curling iron that I'd been using for about 5 years, when it finally died. I have below shoulder colored, blonde hair that I use the curling iron to help straighten out a slight wave and curl my ends under...nothing too fancy. I experimented with a straight iron for about a month since this tool has been so popular, but I didn't get my ends to hold onto their curl very well, so I bought this iron due to Chi's reputation. This iron gets really really hot! There is a digital display and you use up & down buttons to set your temp. I keep mine at 320 because my hair is fine and fragile due to coloring, but it can get much hotter. It gets hot very quickly and my hair is shiny and typically holds it's style until the next time I wash it. The two drawbacks with this is there is no auto shut-off, which is shocking for the price and for as hot as this gets. It could absolutely be a fire hazard. The other problem is that you have to keep your hair from the hinge. I've l...
