Gillette Wins 1st Place Against Itself!
With Gillette being the best in the business, it has itself as the biggest competition. The Fusion series was their original 5+1 blade configuration. The first thing one notices when picking up this version in the hand, the handle has a more 'solid' feel to it, being heavier and made of metal. It is nicely balanced, too. The claim is that the blades are thinner, and last longer. I don't know about the longevity yet, but it gives the smoothest shave, and yes, it really is an improvement over the Fusion, and consequently worth the upgrade. With a van dyke beard I make full use of that +1 blade on the back, too. Are you still reading this? Just get one. It comes with two cartridges (which are not cheap). Hey - if you don't like the change, all the Fusion and ProGlide cartridges and handles are the same fit, so it's easy to revert (if you do - please send me your unwanted ProGlide blades)!

Great blades-great deal!
I used to buy the cheap 10/$2.00 blades...always knicking myself. The two blaes that come with this razor last far, far longer than the other 10 and provide a far superior shave...THAT YOU CAN DO QUICKLY!
